Traditional Iconography Course Day 2

ABOUT THE COURSE: This course is for all levels and done in traditional egg tempera methods of dark-to-light layers. For our icon, we will be painting St. Euphrosynos after a version made by the great sixteenth-century iconographer Theophanes the Cretan surviving in a fresco at a monastery in Meteora, Greece as well as the famous 13th c. Or the White Angel from the Mileseva Monastery in Serbia  We will be working for three consecutive Saturdays, same time , same place.  You choose which icon you want to work on.  You must bring your supplies to each class.  If we need to we will meet on the last Sunday to finish.  There will be no gilding in this class.
